EVENTS IN THE EARLY CHAPTERS OF GENESIS

AND THEIR ORDER

PREFACE

The following tabulated notes are in BCE date sequence commencing at God's creative act stated in Genesis 1:1. These dates are based upon the understanding that the first seven days of God's creative and forming activity span a time of seven hundred years, each 'day' being 100 years. This definition is founded upon three statements:

1.  The Book of Enoch, in its original uncorrupted script is recognised as Holy Scripture. The stanzas containing the prophetic Apocalypse of Weeks as translated by R.H.Charles are accepted as a true record, following certain obvious re-arrangement of the text in two of the stanzas. 

     This Apocalypse is taken to be a true record of God's activities throughout the time from the sin of Adam to The Day of God. The truth of this record is based upon the recognition of the present Administration of God's Grace referred to in Ephesians 3:2-3. Many Christian Students who have studied this Apocalypse have been unable to establish the length of time for each Apocalyptic week because of their failure to recognise this Administration and the length of time it occupies. 

     Each week represents 700 years, totalling 7000 years for the 10 weeks, but because this present Administration of 1960 years was hidden in God until revealed by the apostle Paul, Enoch could not have included it in his Apocalypse. Neither could he have included the Administration of 140 years named The Fullness of Times [Ephesians 1:10] which was not revealed until after 62ad. When Enoch recorded his Apocalypse, each week being 700years, it is not unreasonable to recognise that the previous week in which God had reformed and created the Earth was also 700 years. 

2.  It was not until the fourth day that God made two great lights to rule the day and the night. 

3. The description of each of the six days of God's creation and reformation of the Earth is terminated by the phrase, ‘And then there was evening and then there was morning—the 'n'th day’. Thus, God worked for a period of time before finishing (marked by the term ‘evening’), and began a period of inactivity which continued until ‘morning’ when he began working again. In other words, the term ‘evening’ refers to the beginning of the period when God was inactive, and the term ‘morning’ refers to the termination of God’s inactivity and the beginning of the next day’s work. The word 'day' has many meanings in the Scripture and does not necessarily refer to a time length of 24 hours. See here for further explanation. 

It is also to be noted that these BCE dates include a long period of time between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2. This period is generally known as The Genesis Gap. It is during this period that the events described in Ezekiel 28:12 to 19. occurred. Satan's rebellious pride resulted in the the Earth becoming Null and Void [Genesis 1:2]. The term 'Null and Void' is a translation of the Hebrew  WHBW WHT  which is used in two other places to describe judgemental acts of God. The conclusion must therefore be that the condition of the Earth in Genesis 1:2 was also a judgemental act of God, this time upon the Earth Order under Satan's control. Concerning this period, the Scripture teaches us that:

The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.   Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.  There is no remembrance of former things   Ecclesiastes 1:9

The following important items should be recognised as part of this structure:

1.  Without the recognition of those years between the creation of the Earth and the time it became without form and void, there would be no period in which Satan through pride could have been condemned by God:

Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.  Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. 

Thou art the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee so: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.  Thou wast perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.  

By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.  Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the earth, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.  Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.  All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.   Ezekiel  28:12.

2.  The man was FORMED on the third day when The Lord God made the Earth and the Heavens and every plant of the field before it was in the Earth, and every herb of the field before it grew...........And The Lord God formed man of the dust of the Earth and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living soul [Genesis 2:4-7]. 

This FORMING of Adam by God occurred three days before his CREATION on the sixth day and his subsequent disobedience on the seventh day whilst God rested. For four days Adam was in a state of innocence, not knowing Good and Evil. After Eve was FORMED and later CREATED on the sixth day, she became the mother of all living before the birth of Cain and Able following the seventh day. It can be deduced therefore that during the time of their innocence, on the sixth day, children were born unto them. During this period, possibly 80 years, Adam and Eve were in the FORMED condition  which science recognises as Neanderthal man. Subsequently on the sixth day, Adam and Eve were created in God's likeness, losing their innocence on seventh day because of their disobedience. The million year evolution of man is a deceitful fable.

3.  Eden is the name of the 'island' Earth which came out of the waters on the third day. It remained a single area of land until the days of Peleg in 2341bc having been in that condition for some 2300 years, even during the Universal Flood, following which the repopulating of Eden allowed the migration of species over a period of 100 years.

4.  There is no mention of the origin of the unclean spirits, the demons. They did not originate before the six days of creation because at the end of all God's during the six days He said: God saw everything that He had made and behold it was very good. The demons must therefore be the result of an activity contrary to God's need following His work of the six days. The scripture states that when a man dies, his spirit, his intelligence, returns to God who gave it. The demons are spirits who cannot return to God because their life was not given by God but by His sons, the angels. Thus their children, being the result of copulation with the daughters of men became the demons, or unclean spirits, when they died. During their life in the flesh they were men of renown. [Genesis 6:4]

5.  The race of giants, who were in the Earth at the time, when the angels descended, have the Hebrew name of MYLYPN meaning FALLEN ones, in Anglicised form: Nephilim.

There were Nephilim in the earth in those days,.........when the Sons of God came in unto the daughters of men. [Genesis 6:4]

They are the children of Cain who became known by his rebellious attitude to God, typified by his FALLEN countenance when his sacrifice was not accepted. Cain's exile on the Earth-Nod [DWN-stere Heb.] in English: Earth-Wanderer, resulted in the development of a gigantic stature by his progeny, due to the Earth-Wanderer's lower gravity.  In astronomical terms, a wanderer is the name given to a planet because, seen from the Earth it seems to wander, going to and fro in the sky.  The translators of the Hebrew book of Genesis, not understanding this term, transliterated the DWN as Nod and mistakenly translated the Hebrew word: stere as Land, not Earth as it is in many early parts of the book. Thus reference is made to a twin planet system, The Earth and the Earth Wanderer, both revolving round one another.

6.  Due to a very bad chapter break at the beginning of Chapter 2 of Genesis, the student is led to believe that verse 4 relates to what precedes rather than what follows, as is the case in other uses of the word generations [Heb:toledoth] The ten terms 'These are the generation of' [Heb: toledeth] are the principle subject headings of this book, giving us the understanding of the early defining of human society. This first occurrence is as follows:

These are the generations of the Heavens and of the Earth, when they were created in the day that The Lord God made the Earth and the Heavens.  [Genesis 2:4]

In Genesis 1:1, the Heavens and the Earth are referred to. From the context it is recognised that the application of the word 'Heavens' refers to the Planetary System of which the Earth and its associated planet is part. In the statement above, the names are reversed: The Heavens and The Earth, because what follows is firstly the generations of The Heavens, followed by the generations of The Earth. 

The preamble to these two generations is  the story of the forming and creation of Adam and Eve, followed by the sin of Adam and his rejection from the garden in Eden, then the birth of Cain and Able, the murder of Able, and the judgement of the rebellious and resentful Cain. This results in Cain's departure from the Earth to its associated planet, the Earth-Wanderer. There he built a city naming it after the first of his progeny, Enoch.  Thus were the tribes in the Heavens generated. Eventually the descendents of Cain became the originators and teachers of the three fundamental activities of man: Industry, Art and Agriculture.

Immediately following this record is that of the Generation of the birth of Seth and his son Enos. Thus were the tribes on the Earth generated. 

These two generations, that of Cain and that of Seth generated the Heaven and the Earth respectively.  They precede the second recorded generation, that of Adam himself, implying that the Nephilim, although 'human' were no longer to be regarded as his sons.

NOTE:  This dating will not be acceptable to those students who base their research upon the standard belief that the Speed of Light is, and has been, a constant, having been measured at 144.00 miles per second. The latest suppressed discoveries however show that in the past the speed was much greater. The rate of decay of the carbon atom which is used as the basis of the timing of events in the past, is inversely linked to the speed of light. The higher the speed the shorter the times determined by the decay of the Carbon atom. Thus the millions of years history of the Earth which support the theories of the Evolutionist are erroneous and unrealistic, the true timing is shown to conform to that of God's record, His Word. 

GENESIS EVENTS

The table that follows is firstly divided into the six days of the creation and forming of God, followed by the day in which God rested. The days that follow are divided according to Enoch's Apocalypse of Weeks, each day having the same length of time as that of God's creative and forming activity.

Genesis 1:1	The original creative act of God was performed to bring into existence, first the Heaven, then the Earth. The heaven referred to here is not that of the stars. Their creation is noted in the record of the fourth day. This heaven is the planetary system to which Cain emigrated after God's judgement upon him.	9732
	During the period that followed the special cherub, known by his title which tells us that he protected or covered The Holy One, through pride became the deceiver, Satan. The record of this period is hidden, as God has said: There is no remembrance of former things. This is generally known as The Genesis Gap.

Genesis 1:2 to 1:5	The First Day of God's creation and reformation. Having given light [Day], God  divides it from the darkness [Night].	4832 to 4732
Genesis 1:6 to 1:8	The Second Day.  A firmament [Heaven] divides the waters from the waters.	4732 to 4632
Genesis 1:9 to 1:13 Genesis 2:4 to 2:25	The Third Day.  The waters under Heaven are gathered together into one place [Seas] so that the dry [Earth] appears.  Man, a living soul, was FORMED from the dust of the Earth. God planted a garden in the East of Eden, putting the man there to dress it and keep it. The Earth brings forth grass, herbs. No rain but a mist watered the Earth. Out of the Earth God made to grow every tree which is pleasant to the sight and good for food, including the trees of Life [in the midst of the garden] and The Knowledge of Good And Evil. Out of Eden went a river which divided into four heads: PISON around Havilah, GIHON around Ethiopia, HIDDEKEL towards the East of Assyria and EUPHRATES For food, God gave the man every tree of the garden including the tree of Life, but NOT the tree of The Knowledge of Good And Evil. God tells the man that if he eats from the latter, he would die.	4632 to 4532
Genesis 1:14 to 19	The Fourth Day. God made two great lights, the greater to rule the day and the lesser to rule the night. God made the stars also.	4532 to 4432
Genesis 1:20 to 23	The Fifth Day. Out of the waters, God created great sea creatures and every creature that moves together with every winged fowl.	4432 to 4332
Genesis 1:24 to 2:1 Genesis 2:19 to25	The Sixth Day. Out of the Earth God made the beasts, the cattle, the fowl of the air and everything that creeps upon the Earth. The man names every creature, but failed to seek a help meet. Therefore God takes from man ayALasTH TA [Heb]  to build a woman. The man and the woman cleaving together, being of one flesh. Both were naked and not ashamed. 'Be fruitful and multiply and fill the Earth'  We know him as Neanderthal man. God next CREATES the man and the woman in His own image, giving them dominion over the fish of the sea, the fowl of the air and every living thing that moves upon the Earth. God now tells the man and the woman that for food they will have every herb and the fruit of every tree. God gives every green herb for food to every beast of the earth, every fowl of the air and everything that creepeth upon the Earth.	4332 to 4232
Genesis 2:2 to 2:3 Genesis 3:1 to 3:7	The Seventh Day. The serpent asks the woman 'Has God said that you shall not eat of every tree of the garden ?', which leads the woman, being guided by her senses,  to disobey God's Word by taking fruit from the tree of The Knowledge of Good And Evil, eating and giving to the man who eat also. Their eyes were opened, knowing that they were naked.	4232 to 4132
Genesis 3:8 to 3:24 Genesis 4:1 to 4:17	DAY ONE of Enoch's Apocalypse of Weeks. First Week. God discovers Adam's sin, his disobedience, passing sentence upon the serpent, the woman and Adam, to whom he says: 'thou shalt return unto the ground, for dust thou art and unto dust shalt thou return'.  Adam names his wife Eve, because she was the mother of all living. God drove the man out of the garden, at the East of which He placed Cherubims and a flaming sword to keep the way of the Tree of Life. To Adam and his wife, the twins, Cain and Able were born. In time, both Cain and Able made offerings to God. Because of Cain's sin, his offering was not accepted by God. Cain became rebellious, jealous and resentful, his countenance fell. He murdered his brother Able, whose blood cried unto God from the Earth.	4132 to 4032
Genesis 4:16 Genesis 5:1	DAY TWO of Enoch's Apocalypse of Weeks. First Week. Cain was unable to live upon the Earth, claiming that God had driven him out from its face. Cain dwelt on the Earth-Wanderer. There Cain built a city, naming it after his son Enoch.. Cain thereby generated the Heavens. See note on the following day. [See Genesis 2:4 and 4:1 to 4:24]. Cain's labour force for the building of the city was provided by those whose desire was unto him, over whom he ruled. [See the events on the sixth day] After Adam had lived 130 years, Seth was born [4002bc], 'another seed instead of Able whom Cain slew'. By him was the Earth generated.	4032 to 3932

At this time the progeny of Cain returned to the Earth, being of gigantic stature because of the low gravity of their Earth-Wanderer. They were known by their own and their father's rebellious nature towards God.....the Nephilim, the ones of fallen countenance. When the Sons of God [the angels] saw the beauty of men's daughters, they began to copulate with them. Children were born to them. These children became mighty, men of a name.......... neither human nor angelic thus corrupting mankind. The Lord announced that the days of man would be only 120years, thus limiting the time that God's Spirit would strive with him..	3932 to 3832
