EVENTS LEADING TO THE DAY OF GOD
Introduction
Even a casual reading of The Scripture will convince the reader that God is concerned with recording the sequence of events by their span of time and their stated years. These numbers are not random nor casual but are a very informative part of God’s communication, each number having its own unique meaning, the study of which, reveals, amongst other facts, all the timings of God’s plan for mankind.
There follows a list of the Scripture events which are included in the periods of time charted in this series and listed as follows:

The Hebrew and Greek Testaments With both the Hebrew and Greek Testaments, the word study of a passage is fundamental for a correct understanding. Over the last century and a half many Concordances and Lexicons have been compiled for easy reference and enlightenment. Most are based upon the King James Version of The Bible which holds fast to the character and deity of our God, even His Son, The Lord Jesus Christ. However, in consideration of the enormous amount of Scripture research since the publication of The KJV, not only have many words and passages received greater enlightenment, but they are better understood in the context of to-days meaning More importantly it has been possible to correct the occasional erroneous interpretation of the fundamentally correct KJV translators and interpreters.
The Spirit, or intelligence of God is the Teacher of every Christian. This absolute source of Truth is often disregarded in the search for immediate answers to a problem. This leads many to accept the teachings of others without patience and prayerful consideration. This is the basis upon which the information is presented in these BY GRACE leaflets and charts Nos: 79 to 84.
The Book of Enoch Although the English translation of the Book of Enoch is at the present time based upon Septuagint Greek fragments, the compiler, R.H.Charles points out in his introduction that the later part of the book is accurate and reliable. This part of the book records Enoch’s three dream visions: 1. An account of the coming Universal Flood, 2. The History of the Children of Righteousness. 3. The Apocalypse of Weeks.
It is the record of the last vision which has been the means of establishing an accurate basis of the times between the year of Adam’s sin and the introduction of The Day of God. But it has not been possible to gain this accuracy without the inclusion of the time period occupied by the Apostle Paul’s revelation of the present Administration of God’s Grace [Eph 3:2]. This revelation was hidden in God until the year 69ad and was therefore not included in Enoch’s record of The Apocalypse of Weeks. Both this Administration and that of the Completion of Times [Eph 1:10] must be included in order to establish the correct timings.
The Numerology of God God’s record includes much numerology, the meaning of which has been ignored by most Christians even though it is fundamental when seeking to understand the meaning of God’s communication. The Hebrew and Greek languages which God constructed for His Word are based upon our accepted numerical system even as our understanding of God’s creation. Such a system cannot be broken nor distorted.. The addition of two and two will eternally be four. The understanding gained from a study of God’s numerology has been applied in the illustration of this series.
The Administration of God’s Grace Contrary to the belief of many Christians, the proclamation of The Kingdom of God in Israel should not have been proclaimed since 62ad. Following the Spiritual blinding of The Jews at that time, a new and previously unknown Administration of God was introduced, that of His Grace [Eph 3:2]. This revelation given to the apostle Paul around the year 69ad is incorporated and explained in his letters to the Ephesian and Colossian Christians. During this time Individual Christians are encouraged to understand and follow this new Calling [1:18 & 4:4] which results in them being seated with Christ on God’s Right [Eph 2:6].
The Administration of The Fullness of Times. In chapter three, the apostle Paul reveals to the readers of his letter to the Ephesians the details of this hidden administration:
Daniel’s prophecy concerning his People and his Holy City. This prophecy 70 weeks began on the day that Jesus Christ took up His commission when reading from the book of Isaiah in the synagogue in Nazareth [Luke 4:17]. This is a two part prophecy, the fulfilment of which was postponed, firstly with regard to Daniel’s people in 62ad, and secondly with regard to his Holy City in 69/70ad. This postponement ends in 2022ad and 2029ad respectively; then continues for the completion of the rest of the 70 weeks [490years] in 2477ad at the time when the kingdoms of the world become the kingdoms of The Lord.
The Day of Jesus Christ and the time of His Judgement Seat. The Christians generated during the Acts period were encouraged to look forward to The Day of Jesus Christ when they would be assessed at The Judgement Seat of Christ with regard to their works before entering Israel’s Heavenly Kingdom. It was the apostle Paul’s hope that all would be worthy. [1Cor 1:7-8, 2Cor 1:14, Phil 1:6, 2:16 2Cor 5:9-10]
The events during The Day of Jezreel. Then shall the children of Judah and the children of Israel be gathered together and appoint themselves one head, and they shall come up out of the earth: for great shall be the Day of Jezreel. [Hosea 1:10-11] This is the time of the resurrection and reunification of the whole Tribe of Israel. Firstly the House of Judah-Israel receives again their Spiritual Sight, then the House of Ephraim-Israel are gathered to be told that they are again God’s people. Following resurrections, both Houses are then united to appoint themselves one head, their resurrected King David [Eze 37:24 Gen 49:10]
The Day of The Lord with the letters addressed to seven angels. The Great and terrible Day of The Lord cannot begin until the Sun is turned into darkness and the Moon into blood. [Joel 2:31]. This event is not to be confused with a similar event when the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light and the stars of heaven shall fall [Mark 13:24, Mat 24:20] It is after the latter that The Son of Man comes in the clouds as promised by the two men in white apparel when the disciples had just witnessed The Lord Jesus Christ taken up in a cloud out of their sight.
Christ Himself gives instruction and Hope to the seven angels of the seven churches in Asia which will suffer the seven years Tribulation following the crucifixion of King David. These seven years end when the kingdoms of the world become the kingdoms of The Lord in 2477ad [Rev 11:15 Dan 2:31-35] prior to The Son of Man coming in the clouds. [Rev 19:11]
The Last Days of the life of The House of Israel. What is the answer to the question:
What is the period of which these are the Last Days ?
Until that is known it will not be possible to determine when they begin and end. Because the definite article is often used in both the Hebrew and Greek when referring to these days, they must be considered as a single period of time.
The first reference to this period is made by Israel when telling his sons that which shall befall you in The Last Days [Gen 49:1] Non of his sons question what he means by the use of the phrase. If we look earlier in the Scripture to see how the word ’days’ is used, we find the statement: And Jacob lived in the land of Egypt seventeen years: and the days of Jacob were the years of his life, seven years and a hundred and forty years [Genesis 47:28] Thus we are told [1] The Last Days are those of Jacob’s life [2] Acknowledging that Jacob is Israel, Israel’s life until Shiloh come, from the birth of Jacob is 4,500 years, from the birth of Jacob in 2024/5bc to Israel's fulfillment in 2477ad [Gen 49:10] . Thus, by direct proportion the Last Days of Jacob’s life, i.e. the 17years 147years is 520years of 4,500years.[See the article: A purpose of Jacob’s Life Span].
Jacob’s Last 17years began when he entered Egypt to receive from Joseph, who is a Type of The Christ, the bread which was the salvation of his soul. Thus The Last 520 Days of Israel began when The Christ was born which being The Bread of Life is The Salvation of Israel They end when Israel died, when God’s plan for The Whole House of Israel comes to fruition at the time when The Kingdoms of the world become the Kingdoms of The Lord in 2477ad [Rev 11:15]
Great Tribulation leading to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The three and a half years period of Great Tribulation ends at the very important event interpreted by Daniel as the stone, representing The Kingdom of The Lord, cut out without hands demolishes all the world kingdoms in 2477ad. We know from the details given in the Book of Revelation that a few years later is the return of The Lord Jesus Christ to occupy the throne of the world. [Rev 11:15 and 19:11 20:4 and Mat 19:28]. when all the tribes of Israel will be judged.
The Hope of the Christian at the time of Christ’s Second Coming
We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality [1Cor 15:51]
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the presence [Gk: parousia] of the Lord shall not precede them which are asleep. For The Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. [1The 4:13]
These are those wonderful promises made to those Christians who were generated by God during the Acts period which is part of the first seven weeks of years of Daniel’s seventy weeks prophecy. They will be fulfilled at the time of Christ’s Second Coming [Rev 19:11]. In the mean time, the seventy weeks of years remain to be completed, particularly the first seven weeks of 49years. Thirty-five of those years ended in 62ad to recommence in 2022ad, before the promised Day of Jesus Christ when all would be raised and assessed for entry into The Kingdom of Heaven in Israel [See paragraph above: The Day of Jesus Christ….[2029-2036ad]
The period of the Spiritual blindness of the Jews. A remarkable act of God occurred in 62ad the result of which is evident even to-day. The Jews as a nation have been Spiritually blinded. They are unable to discern The Truth from their Scriptures, believing in many distorted interpretations. They cannot as a nation accept the inspired Greek New Testament which reveals the first coming of their Messiah and its consequences. This God imposed limitation will shortly be removed when the power of the Gospel will again work amongst The House of Judah resulting in their acceptance of their True Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ.
The Period of The House of Israel being ‘Not God’s People’. In 774bc the prophet Hosea was commanded to marry a harlot for a wife by whom their third child, a son was named Lo-ammi because, God said The House of Ephraim-Israel are not my people, and I will not be their God. . God indicated that this condition would not be permanent [Hos 1:10] but would end when He says to them: You are the sons of The Living God. in 2027ad. They will have been scattered in the world for 2800 years. Then together with the other division of The Whole House of Israel. The House of Judah-Israel, and following the appointment of ‘one head’ there shall be the resurrection of the rest of Israel. [Hos 1:11]
The thousand year reign of Christ with His Saints. And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS .[Rev 19:11]
Thus does The Lord Jesus Christ take up His Kingdom of the world, firstly to cleanse it and then to establish it with His saints during their Thousand Year reign. Satan, being bound for these thousand years, cannot therefore organise opposition.
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection…..they shall be priests of God and of Christ and shall reign with Him a thousand years [Rev 20:6]
The Kingdom of God including The Kingdom of Heaven. When God’s kingdom is established in Israel in 2036ad at the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem by the anointed prince [Dan 9:25], God will reign from His throne in heaven [Isaiah 66:1] whilst mediators: seven angels will guide the seven churches in Asia, king David rules Israel and king Nebuchadnezzar rules the world. [Dan 2:37-38]
When the kingdoms of the world become the kingdoms of The Lord [Rev 11:15] then the full Kingdom of God begins, only to end when there are New Heavens and a New Earth in 4969ad. having run for 2793 years [3.19.49]
The total defeat of Satan in the Little Season.. The 'little season' of Revelation 20:3 is identical to 'little while' of John 7.33. It seems that the one contrasts the other, both therefore being 3.5years. Satan will be given the same time as an ‘opportunity’ to re-establish his kingship of the earth, as that given to The Messiah, The Lord Jesus Christ for His ministry, which began with His commission [Luke 4:18] and ended with His Ascension [Acts 1:9].
Satan’s failure to accomplish this, results in him being cast into the lake of fire and brimstone. [Rev ch.20]
The period of Righteous Judgement upon all mankind. Immediately following the judgement upon Satan, is the judgement of mankind, all who are born of the first Adam. There will be a great white throne. There is no place found for the Earth and the Heaven before the face of The One seated upon it, . That Earth and Heaven which were created in the beginning. Books will be opened, together with the Book of Life. All the remaining dead and alive humans born since the first Adam, who are not trusting in the Second Adam, are then judged according to the record of each in the contents of those books. They are to be judged by their works. All living humans will already have been assessed by their faith in The Living God, The Lord Jesus Christ.
The great Eonian Judgement of God amongst the angels. The Great Eonian Judgement which God will execute upon the angels is in Enoch’s 10th week, the seventh part following immediately after death and Hades are cast into the lake of fire.
The period for this judgement will last 82 years [factors 2 x 41] The Godly use of these two figures confirms the condition of those beings who are being judged, both numbers indicating division. It is these angels, a third of the host of God’s Sons [Rev 12:4] amongst whom God will execute vengeance. There is no redress for them because they were created as God’s Sons..
Rehoboam, the King of Israel succeeded his father Solomon and was 41years old when, by a desire for power and greed, he caused the division by rebellion of the twelve tribes of The Children of Israel even as the rebellion of The House of Ephraim-Israel from The House of Judah-Israel breaking apart the Whole House of Israel
The Administration of The Fullness of Times. This is a period which ends all that God has been working since the creation of Adam. It is the last act of God before He brings in The New Heaven and The New Earth. It has been revealed by the apostle Paul when he writes his letter to the Ephesians:
In the Administration of The Fullness of Times God will gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in Him. [Eph 1:10]
This period was not revealed to Enoch, coming as an addition beyond his 10th week of his Apocalypse. This 10th week ends in 4829ad at the time of the last Jubilee, the 128th. It occurs at the termination of The Kingdom of God, which having lasted for 2793 years [3 x 19 x 49] has served its purpose.
Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power. For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death. For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all. [1Cor 15:24]

SUMMARY
This series is based upon a study of The Events Leading to The Day of God, the most important of which are as follows::
1. The appearance of God in the flesh to take away the sins of the world by making Himself of no reputation, humbling Himself and becoming obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. After three days, raised by The Father unto Eternal Life and Glory.
2. The return of The Lord Jesus Christ in person, ruling in His Kingdom amongst mankind, particularly His own Children, and to judge the world in righteousness.
3. The resurrection in their order of all who have given their lives to God to fulfil various functions according to their calling. Their bodies of humiliation replaced by bodies of Glory.
4. Defeat of the forces of evil headed up by God’s Adversary, the Devil.
5. Overcoming all opposition to His rule by the destruction of the false city of God, Babylon the Great.
6. The comprehensive training of all those who honour and obey the ways of God, together with a city, the New Jerusalem as their dwelling.
7. The judgement of the remnant of mankind by the assessment of their works.:
In order to better understand the expectancy of those Christians living during the time of Christ’s ministry and afterwards, during the time of the apostles, until the Spiritual blinding of the Jews in 62ad, many events were postponed and will not be reinstated until God restores Spiritual sight to the Jews in 2022ad.
