THE PATRIARCHS AND PROPHETS. 4132bc to 4bc

New Page 1

This is the second in a series of six charts which outline  God’s plans and activities from the sin of Adam to The future Day of The Lord.  This chart spans the time from Adam to the birth of Christ, 4132bc to 4bc. Adam was created sinless, but his disobedience to his Father, God brought the condemnation of death on him and therefore upon all mankind. Adam sinned on the seventh day of the first week whilst God rested from all the work which He had made. On the first day of the following week he was judged and condemned to death. At this point the 930 years of his life began. It marks the start of the following sequence of events in this period ending after 400 years silence when Gabriel visited Zacharias the priest:

The Generation of The Heavens and The Earth by Cain and Seth.

The rebellion of the Nephilim and The Sons of God

Enoch’s prophetic record of God’s work. The Apocalypse of Weeks

The regeneration of mankind through Noah and his sons.

The Seventy nations given over to idolatry

God’s covenant with Abram brought from Ur of the Chaldees

Isaac’s twin sons, Esau and Jacob. God hated Esau the elder.

Israel exiled in Egypt for 400 years where his sons generated the 13 tribes.

Israel’s lost generation whilst wandering in the wilderness for 40 years.

Israel enters the promised land and the Jubilees begin.

The Kingdom of Israel established under King Saul.

Jeroboam, the Ephraimite rebels against Rehoboam, the Judahite.

God tells Israel, the House of Ephraim: ‘You are not my people’. Lo-ammi.

The ten tribes of The House of Ephraim exiled into Assyria then scattered

The two tribes of The House of Judah, the Judahites, exiled into Babylon.

The Jews, or Judahites  return to The Land to rebuild the Temple.

The last Word from God by Zechariah followed by 400 years of silence.

The dating of events during this period is difficult and must be accepted as approximate except for certain dates which are clearly defined by Scripture. i.e. [1]   All events leading to the introduction of Jubilees, [2] The restoration of the Temple by Josiah, and [3] The Temple destruction by the Babylonians [see By Grace No: 34]. The underlying dating is based upon The Apocalypse of Weeks. [see By Grace No:23]: where each Week spans 700years.

The paragraphs which follow are in chronological order.

25 Adam had three sons, Cain, Abel and Seth. following which he had many sons and daughters. The murder of Abel left two generations who would populate the Heavens and the Earth as stated following:These are the generations of the Heaven and the Earth [Gen 2:4]

The generation of the Heaven:  Following Cain’s disobedience, God told him: ‘you are cursed from the earth’, and Cain replied: ‘You have driven me out this day from the face of the Earth’. Thus it is recorded that: Cain went out from the presence of The Lord and dwelt on The Earth-Wanderer [Heb] away from Eden, towards the Sun [Heb.]. There, with the aid of his labour force, the generation of Adam prior to his sin [Gen 4:7], he built a city naming it after his son.

The generations of the Earth:  Following Abel’s murder, Adam knew his wife again and she bare a son and called his name Seth. Thus Seth began the line of the Godly patriarchs,

Thus Abram became ‘The Plant of Righteous Judgement’ and in 2085bc when 99years old, God told him:

I will make my covenant between me and you, and will multiply you exceeding …...and you will be a father of many nations…….and I will make you exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come out of you.

After Abraham had demonstrated his obedience to God by being prepared to sacrifice his son Isaac, God said to him:

In blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply your seed as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is upon the sea shore, and your seed shall possess the gate of his enemies.

Z Enoch would have written his record of events in the original language of the pre-flood patriarchs. As far as is known, no such record is available to-day. When God was first present upon earth with his disciples, this book was accepted as God inspired.  The proof of this lies in the fact that there are abundant quotations from this record in both the Old and New Testaments [200 in O.T. & 40 in N.T.]. To-day Greek fragments of the Septuagint version enable scholars to translate to English versions, the principle one of  which is that by C.H.Charles. It contains a dating from Adam to The Day of God, The Apocalypse of Weeks [see By Grace No:22, 23, 24]

30  God said ‘Esau have I hated’ and Isaac, by devious means, caused the blessing of his elder son to be given to Jacob. Since that time The House of Esau has sought to regain its inheritance by infiltrating and eliminating the House of Israel. The tribe of Esau is known as the Edomites living in Edom centred upon Mount Seir. This country borders the south of Judah and was the original dwelling place of the sons of Cain, the Nephilim. Both Cain and Esau were generated by The Adversary and are therefore in continuous rebellion against the purposes of God. The Nephilim upon the earth were almost eliminated by two actions of God: Their  genetic distortion was partly the judgement of the universal flood. Their residue was the cause of God’s command at the time when the Israelites were to enter the land of their inheritance occupied by the Canaanites:

Of the cities of these people, which the Lord your God gives you for an inheritance, you shall save alive nothing that breathes [Deut 20:16].

T God’s record states that there are seventy Gentile nations upon earth. [Gen 10:32]. whose worship is idolatrous [1Cor 12:2, Rom1:28-32]. Christians are constantly warned to avoid any association with such practices [Gal 5:18-21, Eph 5:5]  For them, Salvation could only be found amongst the tribes of Israel by The Law and by Israel’s Messiah s after 30ad.

The letters written during The Acts of The Apostles indicate that, during that period. the Christians expected their Kingdom in Israel to be established in a few years.  It would have been reigned over by the resurrected King David beginning in 76ad at the time of the 31st Jubilee. [see BY GRACE No: 85]

However, God intervened in 62ad by postponing the introduction of The Kingdom of God in Israel when he condemned the Jews for having indifferent hearts, sluggish ears and closed eyes not willing to understand, be converted and healed. This resulted in the Jews being Spiritually blind and deaf. [Act 28:23-27]  as they continue as a tribe, to this day in the 21st Millennium. As a result of this postponement, God introduced the new Administration of His Grace [Eph ch.3] and commissioned the Salvation message amongst the nations. No longer is Salvation of The Jews [John 4:22]

26  Noah’s Ark was constructed during the time of the Satanic attempts to disrupt mankind’s God’s created genetic structure. [1] The Sons of God forsook their rightful place in Heaven to cause the daughters of Adam to bear their children.  [2]  The sons and daughters of Cain, the Nephilim, returned to Earth to join in this disruption.  The building and populating of the Ark was the notice of God’s judgement to come in the form of the universal flood. Noah was chosen because his pedigree was perfect, not having been corrupted by the Satanic interference. The waters of the flood were sourced by [1] waters from the depths of the Earth and [2] waters from the heights of Heaven, The Earth- Wanderer, a planet known as rm [See By Grace 51, 52, 53].

27  When Abram was 86 years old Sarah, his barren wife, persuaded him to have children by her Egyptian servant Hagar. So was Ishmael born. God said.

And as for Ishmael…….Behold I have blessed him and will make him fruitful and will multiply him exceedingly; twelve princes shall he beget, and I will make

him a great nation…...his seed shall not be numbered for multitude…….he will be a wild man; his hand shall be against every man, and every man’s hand against him and he shall dwell in the presence of all his brethren

But God said of Isaac:

I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant; and with his seed after him.

Ishmael, the eldest son of Abraham, generated the Arab nations, which, for thousands of years, have been a thorn in the side of the nation generated by Isaac

28  Abram was a citizen amongst the Chaldees living in the city of Ur. The citizens of this city had sophisticated living conditions as illustrated by this fireplace. It was excavated during the archaeological dig which revealed the existence and plan of the city.

According to the Book of Enoch, Abram was to be The Plant of Righteous Judgement whose posterity would become the plant of righteousness for evermore.

God said to Abram

Get out of your country and from your kindred, and from your father Terah’s house unto a land that I will show you. And I will make of you a great nation and I will bless you and make your name great and you shall be a blessing.

29  Jacob’s youngest son, Joseph, was taken captive into Egypt and sold to the captain of Pharaoh’s guard. After much trauma Joseph found himself interpreting a dream of Pharaoh concerning famine in Egypt. This so impressed  Pharaoh to state: You will be over my house and according unto your word shall all my people be ruled, only in the throne will I be greater than you…...See I have set you over all the land of Egypt. In the good harvests that followed Joseph stored the corn to cover the years of famine which extended also into the land of Canaan where Joseph’s father Jacob and his family dwelt. This caused his brothers and his mother and father with all their servants to seek to purchase corn in Egypt. Thus the House of Israel came to dwell in Goshen in the land of Egypt. They were there for 400years during which they became a mighty nation, but later: There arose a new ruler over Egypt who knew not Joseph. who made them serve with rigor.

In order that His people should escape from this bondage, God raised up a saviour, Moses to lead them out of Egypt through the dried up Red Sea back to the Land of their promise. However, they were a fearful nation and refused to enter their land because it was occupied by the Nephilim of gigantic stature.

Thus their 40year wanderings in the wilderness began until that fearful generation had died and a new and progressive generation arose who eagerly followed their new commanders, Joshua and Caleb through the dried up river Jordan into their promised land of Canaan..

31  After crossing through the river Jordan, The tribes of Israel were faced with the need to force their occupation upon The Land. They had been instructed by God: ‘you shall save alive nothing that breathes’. The battles that followed became known as The Wars of The Lord until after ten years it was possible to divide the land of Canaan into twelve lots, one for each tribe. They failed to cleanse the land of all the Canaanites, leaving some who dwelt amongst them. During the wars they had relied upon the food produced by the existing occupants of the land, but they were now able to plant their own seed for the first time. God had told them that from that point of time onwards during every fiftieth year, i.e. the first year of a 49 year cycle. ‘you shall return every man unto his possession, and you shall return every man to his family’. This year is known as a Jubilee.

32  In 1051/2bc Saul was anointed king over all Israel, but because of his disobedience he was replaced by King David in 1012bc. After David died, his son Solomon was anointed king in 972bc. Solomon reigned for forty years and

although he expanded the kingdom in a glorious way gaining much earthly wisdom and constructing The Temple as God’s dwelling upon earth. God promised Solomon:

And if thou wilt walk before me, as David thy father walked, in  integrity of heart, and in uprightness, to do according to all that I have  commanded thee, and wilt keep my statutes and my judgments: Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel for ever,  as I promised to David thy father, saying, There shall not fail thee a man  upon the throne of Israel.

But if ye shall at all turn from following me, ye or your  children, and will not keep my commandments and my statutes which I have set  before you, but go and serve other gods, and worship them:  Then will I cut off Israel out of the land which I have given them;  and this house, which I have hallowed for my name, will I cast out of my  sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:  [1Kings 9:4]

But Solomon did evil in the sight of The Lord by worshipping the various gods of his wives which he had taken from the Moabites, the Ammonites, the Edomites, the Zidonians and the Hittites. This caused God to say to him

Wherefore the LORD said unto Solomon, Forasmuch as this is done  of thee, and thou hast not kept my covenant and my statutes, which I have  commanded thee, I will surely rend the kingdom from thee, and will give it to  thy servant.  Notwithstanding in thy days I will not do it for David thy father's  sake: but I will rend it out of the hand of thy son.  Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one  tribe to thy son for David my servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which  I have chosen.  [1Kings 11:11]

33 The twelve tribes, known as The Whole House of Israel were one nation until 931bc. This was the year following the death of King Solomon, his son Rehoboam had become king. The latter part of King Solomon’s reign had been a degradation causing God to remind Solomon of his promise. See above in item 32.

The servant was Jeroboam, an Ephraimite who then fled to Egypt because Solomon sought to kill him. During his reign, King Solomon had made the lives of the Israelites grievous in their service by the heavy yoke placed upon them. When Rehoboam succeeded him, the Israelites therefore called Jeroboam from Egypt to confront him, hoping to reduce this burden but he took the foolish advice of his peers, telling them:

My father, Solomon made your yoke heavy, and I will add to your yoke My father has chastised you with whips, but I will chastise you with scorpions. [1Kings 12:14]

This caused Jeroboam and the ten tribes, The House of Israel, to rebel against the House of David, the tribe of Judah with Benjamin, to be know henceforth as The House of Judah.  King Rehoboam continued to rule in Jerusalem as King of Judah, whilst Jeroboam became King of Israel.  [1Kings 12:20].  After this division of the tribes, King Rehoboam raised an army with the intention of attacking Israel in order to again unite the twelve tribes, but God, by his prophet Shemaiah, said to him:

You shall not go up nor fight against your brethren, the children of Israel: return every man to his house for this thing is from me. They listened therefore to the Word of The Lord and returned to depart according to the Word of The Lord’.

34   Because of the idolatrous worship by the House of Israel, the ten tribes governed by their King Jeroboam, God instructed the prophet Hosea to name his daughter Lo-ruhemah because God said: I will no more have mercy upon the House of Israel; but I will utterly take them away. This warning went unheeded because when Hosea’s second daughter was born, God instructed him to name her Lo-ammi, because God said: You are not my people, and I will not be your God.  However,

The Number of the Children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured nor numbered and it shall come to pass that in the place where it was said to them:’You are not my people’, there it shall be said to them: ‘You are the sons of the living God’.

These events occurred in the year 640bc and in order that these ten tribes should be gathered and reunited with the two tribes, The House of Judah, they will again be the sons of the Living God in the year 2027ad, an extended period of 2666 years [2.31.43] A time indicating that both Houses are divided but remain under the hand of God.

P   After the rebellion of the ten tribes of Israel led by the tribe of Ephraim, both they and the two tribes of Judah were taken into captivity by Assyria and Babylon respectively. Later when released the tribes of Judah returned to The Land, but the ten tribes of Ephraim-Israel were ’scattered in the world’ and were told by God in 733bc that ’You are not my people’. Following much tribulation, the tribes of The House of Israel were later scattered in the world. This condition continues through the times of the following charts [see By Grace Nos:81 and 82] until their resurrection and gathering is prepared for the establishment of The Kingdom in Israel in 2036ad, at the time of the 71st Jubilee.

36 Around the year 408bc the prophet Zechariah conveyed the last words of God before His silence of 400years. At the end of that time God broke His silence  when Gabriel, His messenger, appeared to Zacharias, the priest, telling him that his prayer had been heard and that he would have a son who would prepare the way for the coming of The Messiah.

 CONCLUSION

Thus, at the end of this period God’s Word has defined four groups of mankind:

[1] The seventy idolatrous nations upon earth.

[2] Cain’s generation, The Nephilim populating the Solar System and the

earth. They were later joined by the sons of Esau/Edom [Obadiah].

[3] The ten tribes of Israel scattered in the world who are ‘Not His People’,

[4] God’s people, the Judahites/Jews. [later scattered in the world and

     Spiritually blinded. see Acts ch.28]
